Kokeicha Green Tea represents a historical tradition of Japanese tea culture. After the Sencha leaves are steamed and dried, the tea is ground into a very fine powder.

This is then worked with water and a small amount of rice starch, then pressed to obtain a compact block which, once dried, is cut into regular sticks. This technique gives the tea an unmistakable appearance, similar to small pine needles of anthracite green, and ensures a constant, rich and smooth infusion.

  • aroma: clear and persistent marine and vegetal notes.
  • taste: intense structure, balance between sweetness and bitter notes, with a lemon zest aftertaste.
  • leaf appearance: square and compact sticks, charcoal green in color.
  • processing: pulverization of Sencha followed by traditional pressing.

Western method

  • dosage: 2 grams per 200 ml of water.
  • water temperature: 75-80°C.
  • infusion time: 1-3 minutes.

Thanks to a processing method that preserves the green tea's raw material, Kokeicha Green Tea offers a natural content of antioxidants and plant compounds typical of Sencha.

Its intense yet balanced infusion promotes a feeling of clear energy and concentration, making it suitable for both daily consumption and mindful tasting moments where aromatic depth and structure are sought.
