Matcha Kumo Tea is a Japanese matcha of excellent high quality (ceremonial grade), obtained from first-harvest leaves (First Flush) and processed according to the most rigorous traditional methods. Cultivation with prolonged shading (3–4 weeks) and stone grinding produce a very fine powder with a bright green colour and an elegant aromatic profile, characterised by natural sweetness and refined, deep umami.

Shading the plants before harvesting promotes the development of chlorophyll and amino acids, responsible for the typical sweetness and elegant umami of high-grade matcha.

Slow grinding with stone mills preserves the aromatic characteristics and gives the powder a silky texture, ideal for traditional preparation.
