Phuguri First Flush Downy Luxury White Tea is a fine spring tea from the Phuguri organic garden, located in the Himalayan region of Darjeeling, at over 1,800 metres above sea level.
This tea is hand-picked exclusively during the First Flush , the first harvest of the year, which occurs between March and April. The unique climatic conditions of this mountainous area—with morning mists, light rains, and wide temperature variations—give the tender leaves an extraordinary aromatic concentration.
Belonging to the White Tea category, it is composed mainly of apical buds and young leaves , still covered with a soft silvery down (hence the term "Downy"). It is an elegant, pure and refined tea, produced in small quantities and intended for an audience that loves authentic experiences.
- Leaf appearance : Buds covered with silvery fluff, whole leaves light green/silver grey in colour.
- Aroma : Fresh, floral, with notes of white flowers, spring buds and fruity nuances (unripe peach, gooseberry).

Western method
- Quantity: 2 grams per 200 ml of water.
- Temperature: 75°C.
- Infusion time: 2-3 minutes.
- A second, slightly longer infusion is recommended.
Eastern method (Gong Fu Cha) - Quantity: 4-5 grams per 100 ml of water.
- Temperature: 75°C.
- Multiple infusions of 20 to 40 seconds, progressively increasing the time.
