Produced in Fujian province, primarily in the counties of Fuding, Zhenghe, Songxi, and Jianyang, it represents the pinnacle of the white tea tradition. Oriental preparation (Gong Fu Cha):
- Dosage: 5 grams of buds for a 150 ml Gaiwan
- Water temperature: 75–80°C
- Infusion time: 10–15 seconds for the first infusion, gradually increasing the time for subsequent ones
- Infusions: Up to 5–7 infusions, maintaining a sweet and fresh flavour
Western preparation: - Dosage: 3 grams of buds for a 200 ml cup
- Water temperature: 75–80°C
- Infusion time: 2–3 minutes
