Tie Guan Yin Oolong Tea , also known as “Iron Goddess of Mercy,” is one of China’s most celebrated teas.

Originating in Anxi County, Fujian Province, this semi-oxidized tea owes its fame to its unique flavor profile and artisanal production, combining tradition and refinement. The Anxi region, with its maritime monsoon climate and optimal tea-growing conditions, produces some of the finest Tie Guan Yin varieties.

With a low level of oxidation , Tie Guan Yin sits midway between green tea and black tea. This process gives the tea a floral and fresh aromatic profile, maintaining the typical complexity of Oolongs. The leaves, twisted and worked by hand, release notes of orchid and magnolia, offering a delicate and lingering sensory experience.

  • Taste: soft, sweet and persistent, with a unique balance between vegetal freshness and aromatic complexity.
  • appearance of the leaves: twisted and uniform, bright green in colour with silver reflections.
  • Processing: Hand-picked and lightly oxidized to preserve the fresh, floral notes.
