- Dosage: 5 grams of leaves for a 150 ml Gaiwan.
- Water temperature: 95-100°C.
- Infusion time: 10 seconds for the first infusion, gradually increasing the time for subsequent infusions.
- Infusions: up to 6-8 infusions, maintaining the intense flavour.
Western preparation:
- Dosage: 3 grams of leaves per 200 ml cup.
- Water temperature: 95-100°C.
- Infusion time: 3-4 minutes.
